How often do you find yourself torn between the urge to write the PERFECT code and the pressure to deliver as quickly as you can?

Join me for an insightful exploration of this well-known dilemma many of us developers frequently face: the delicate balance between fast delivery and uncompromising quality. In this talk, we'll delve into the complexity of this age-old puzzle from the point of view of a developer with a perfectionist nature.

As someone who strongly identifies with perfectionism, I embarked on my journey in the tech industry with a passion for precision and an eagerness to excel. However, the reality of agile working environments, constant changing requirements by stakeholders and the expectation to meet tight deadlines, made me realize that perfection is more of an ideal to strive for rather than a destination to reach.

As Programmers we love perfection. We like accurate things. We love fixing problems. But what happens when time doesn't allow fixing all the problems you are aware of? In this talk, I’ll share some valuable lessons I’ve learned along the way and present some practical tools for striking the right balance between quality and delivery in every project. Ultimately you just need to find "your right shade of gray" in between.
