Racheli Ebner a Distinguished Engineer, Israel Site Architect at Intuit, with over 25 years of experience in development and architecture.

She was a senior architect and a member of the cross-product architecture team at SAP
She is the co-founder and CTO of Dabra by SAP - an employee-led startup funded by SAP.io which ran for 2.5 years.
She leads SAP’s 1-year architecture curriculum training program in Israel and has run multiple mentoring programs.
Racheli is passionate about helping women engineers promote their careers. She founded WIP - Work in Progress - in which she runs workshops and gives personal consulting.
Racheli holds an M.Sc. in physics and is a mother of 4 children.

Drawing clear, fast architecture diagrams is a skill and an art. A good diagram can take an argument or a conversation and steer it into a direction of clarity and perhaps even agreement.
Technical Architecture Modeling (TAM) is a technique and a standard the produces extremely powerful diagrams.

This 3-hour workshop we will leearn the principles of drawing a TAM diagram and practice on some simple and real-world use cases.

Racheli has been using TAM diagrams for over a decade, as well as teaching it.

In this talk I'll cover the basic concepts of Service Mesh and Sidecar Proxy, and describe how Envoy and Istio work to take the load off all the network-management challenges in Kubernetes clusters.
